1. Every Tuesday 9a-12 noon has been set aside at the Onslow County Sheriff's Office/Jail at 701 Mill Avenue, Jacksonville NC for handling the application process.  Interested individuals need to report in person to the lobby of the Sheriff's Office on Tuesday 9a-12 noon.  Individuals will be received on a first come first serve basis.  During the initial application process Major Love will answer or address matters relating to the application and employment.  Individuals seeking information about an application or employment before coming to the Sheriff's Office should contact Major Love at (910) 455-3113 x147 Monday thru Friday, 9am - 4:30pm.
2. Applicant must be 21 years of age
3. Applicant must be a resident of Onslow County for 30 days
4. Applicant must possess a valid NC Driver's License
5. Applicant must possess a High School diploma, equivalent or GED
